   Obituary: Steve Jensen

Steven Ray Jensen, age 49, of Manhattan, Kansas, died Tuesday evening, May 4, 2010, at the Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan. He was born on November 12, 1960, in Manhattan, Kansas, the son of Glenn Delbert and Mabel F. (Olders) Jensen. Steve was a lifetime area resident where he attended local schools, graduating from Manhattan High School in 1979. He was the Bindery Supervisor for Ag Press in Manhattan. In addition to his career he enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and friends and was a member of the First Lutheran Church. On October 13, 1983, in Manhattan, he was united in marriage to the former Wendy Sue Atkins. She survives of their home in Manhattan. Steve is also survived by one daughter: Courtney Lynn Jensen and her fiancé Tim Grecu of Manhattan, twin sons: Taylor Dylon Jensen and Tyler Ray Jensen, both of the home, his mother: Mabel Jensen, Manhattan and two sisters: Karen Wille and her husband Jeffery of Wamego, Kansas and Vickie Day and her husband Buddy of Hayden, Colorado. Numerous aunts, uncles and extended family also survive. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Jensen in 2002 and by his two brothers: Darrell Jensen in 1976 and Jimmie Jensen in 1997.
