    Friday, July 24
    Picnic at Tuttle Creek Outlet Park Shelter #3
    Hot dogs, brats, salads, & chips, BYOB
    6:00PM-10:00PM

    Update:We will not meet until 3:00PM to set up since this shelter does not have electricity and will have less to set up. We will not be bringing fans and radios. :-(

    The committee will bring lights, bug repellent, fans, and a few activities. We encourage you to bring outdoor games to share. Some of us plan to be there at 2:00PM to get things set up and then rest in the shade with cool beverages. If you'd to join us, come on out. It should be a great time.

    NOTE: Your $15 fee covers both nights of fun activities...we know, it is quite a bargain!!! Feel free to bring your kids or others, but please let Tina know if you plan to only attend the picnic or bring extra people because we want to be sure to have enough food. There will be a donation jar to pay for guests and yourselves if you haven't paid yet.

    Private party for us: The Clearview Band, Dinner: brisket, scalloped potatoes, and veggies, cash bar. 7:00 PM - Midnight

    To make your reservation, send a $15 check (per person) to: Class of 79 P.O. Box 532, Manhattan, KS 66505-0532 or send an email to Tina and say you will be attending. You may pay at the door as long as you let us you'll be there.

    Fairfield Inn: Contact Brad Everett at 1-800-228-2800 or 785-539-2400 if you are interested in reserving a room. He is offering a discounted price for classmates, while supplies last...but you must call and ask for Brad.

    We've lined up a MHS alumni to provide a tour of the West High School campus. If you are interested, meet at MHS West at 10:00AM Saturday, July 2009. No sign up is necessary. This is the only planned activity. We believe that once folks get to the picnic and get to talking that they will line up Saturday morning activities on their own. We will bring some paper in case classmates want to display activities for others to join in.
