Obituary: Terri A. Bailey Kelso
Terri Ann (Bailey) Kelso, age 47, of Manhattan, died September 3, 2008, at Mercy Regional Health Center of Manhattan from natural causes. She was born February 26, 1961, in Manhattan, the daughter of Harold W. and Bonnie (Swart) Bailey, and had been a lifetime area resident. Terri was raised and baptized in the First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan. She was a member of the Pillsbury 4-H Club in her youth. She was a homemaker. She raised birds, was very gifted with arts and crafts, and enjoyed fishing and gardening. She loved her family and spending time with her nieces and nephews. On November 20, 1995, she was married to Scott Kelso. He survives of the home. Additional survivors include three children: Jacob Davisson of Wichita, KS, Kayla and Karla Davisson both of Overland Park, KS; her parents, Harold and Bonnie Bailey of Manhattan; her step grandmother, Ruth Swart of Manhattan; three sisters: Cheryl Marstall and her husband Mike, Kari Cool and her husband Kent, and Janet McPherson all of Manhattan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She had been a resident of Topeka, Olathe and Memphis, TN, through some of her adult life. In later years she returned to Manhattan.
